Product Description

TF-901 is a phosphorus-nitrogen based halogen-free flame retardant that can replace 2 to 2.5 times the amount of antimony trioxide (Sb2O3). It functions through free radical trapping and condensed phase carbonization, offering characteristics such as low density and low smoke emission while complying with environmental standards like REACH and RoHS. TF-901 exhibits excellent thermal stability with a decomposition temperature exceeding 240°C, making it suitable for a wide processing temperature range and applicable to flame retardant treatments with various color requirements. This product is widely used in PVC products, such as wires and cables, films, and leather goods, not only reducing the use of hazardous substances but also effectively meeting multiple flame retardant standards when combined with ATH (aluminum hydroxide) and Mg(OH)2 (magnesium hydroxide), including UL1581 VW-1, BS5852, and UL94 V0/5VA.
